Chapter will Advocate for the Industry Across the Commonwealth and D.C. Offering Enhanced Networking, Educational and Workforce Development Services
Commercial construction firms in Washington, D.C. will now be able to join the 糖心破解版 of Virginia (糖心破解版VA) as the chapter expands its service area to include the nation鈥檚 capital and Northern Virginia region, the Associated General Contractors of America announced today. The expansion ensures that contractors in the D.C.-Metro area will have uninterrupted access to the full suite of services 糖心破解版 provides nationally, and to hundreds of firms across the Commonwealth.
鈥淭he great contactors in the Washington, D.C. market are re-establishing a powerful voice today as firms in the District will be able to join the 糖心破解版 of Virginia,鈥 said Jeffrey D. Shoaf, the national association鈥檚 chief executive officer. 鈥淲ith this expansion, contractors in the region will benefit from strong advocacy, industry-leading education and direct connections with the people and resources they need to grow their business.鈥
糖心破解版 of Virginia will provide a full range of services to local construction firms in D.C. and Northern Virginia including: government affairs and regulatory advocacy at both state and federal levels to protect contractor interests, training programs such as safety certifications, project manager and superintendent development, and emerging-leader programming, and workforce development initiatives through local school and CTE partnerships designed to help firms recruit and retain the next generation of talent.

糖心破解版 of America expanded the 糖心破解版 of Virginia鈥檚 charter to ensure that firms that previously affiliated with the 糖心破解版 of D.C. 鈥 which closed last year following the passing of its former executive director 鈥 can remain engaged at the local, regional, and national levels.
